Claudeforce
Is Your Sales Organization Ready for Claudeforce?
AI is only as powerful as the sales process, Salesforce data, and people behind it.
Claudeforce is changing how salespeople interact with Salesforce. The opportunity is enormous — but AI doesn't fix a weak Salesforce foundation. It exposes it.
01 — What is Claudeforce?
Salesforce and Anthropic have brought Claude and Salesforce together in a new way.
Claudeforce brings Salesforce data and workflows into Claude, allowing salespeople to interact with their Salesforce information through an AI interface rather than relying exclusively on the traditional Salesforce experience.
For sales organizations, that changes the equation.
Salesforce is no longer simply something your salespeople log into. AI can increasingly become the way they access information, analyze opportunities, complete tasks and work with their CRM.
That makes the quality of what sits behind the AI more important than ever.
If the process is inconsistent, the data is unreliable or the people aren't prepared, AI doesn't make those problems disappear. It can make them harder to see.
02 — What Claudeforce Changes
AI changes the way your team interacts with Salesforce.
Salesforce is no longer just something your salespeople log into.
The traditional Salesforce experience asks salespeople to enter information, navigate records, update fields and work through screens.
AI changes that interaction.
Instead of asking a salesperson to find the information, interpret it and decide what to do next, an AI interface can increasingly do that work for them.
That's powerful.
But it also means the salesperson may see less of the underlying Salesforce record than ever before.
If your Salesforce data is incomplete, inconsistent or poorly governed, the problem isn't simply that your reps are frustrated by Salesforce.
The problem is that the AI may be working with information you can't trust.
03 — The 37 Sales Skills
Claude brings 37 sales skills to Salesforce data and workflows.
One of the most interesting aspects of Claudeforce is the introduction of 37 sales skills through Salesforce in Claude.
These capabilities are designed to help salespeople work with their Salesforce information through Claude — from understanding accounts and opportunities to preparing for sales conversations and taking action.
But there's an important distinction:
The 37 sales skills don't make your sales process better.
They operate on the foundation you've already created.
If your sales stages don't mean the same thing to everyone, if opportunities aren't managed consistently, if critical information is missing, or if managers don't trust the data, AI inherits those problems.
That's why AI readiness isn't really an AI question.
It's a sales organization question.
In our guide Putting the 37 Sales Skills to Work, we group the skills into five areas that show how AI could become part of a salesperson's everyday workflow:
-
01
Planning & Pipeline
Understanding what is happening across the business, and where to focus.
Including Daily Briefing · Deal Signals · Pipeline Review · Team Pipeline · Forecast Narrative
-
02
Deal Strategy
Understanding and advancing an individual opportunity.
Including Deal Review · Stakeholder Map · Close Plan · Objection Handling · Deal-Advance Gap Analysis
-
03
Prospecting & Account Growth
Finding the next opportunity inside and beyond the existing base.
Including Prospect Research · Lead Triage · Account Tiering · Renewal Radar · Expansion Whitespace
-
04
Meetings & Communication
Preparing for the conversation, and capturing what came out of it.
Including Call Preparation · Call Follow-Up · Inbox Sweep · Conversation Transcript Summaries
-
05
CRM Intelligence & Governance
Keeping the record itself trustworthy enough to reason over.
Including Win-Loss Review · Activity Logging · Salesforce Data-Hygiene Checks · Most-Prepared Analysis
Take one of them — Deal Signals. Before AI can flag a deal that's going well or badly, somebody has to have decided what those signals are.
What counts as a positive signal in your organization? A confirmed business problem? A meeting with an economic buyer? Agreement on requirements? A documented decision process? And what counts as a negative one — a stalled opportunity, an unresponsive stakeholder, a missed milestone, an unexplained close-date change?
If your sales organization hasn't defined those signals, AI has less to work with. The same is true of Pipeline Review and Forecast Narrative: without clear stages and stage gates, AI can find patterns, but it can't know what those patterns mean inside your methodology. The result is recommendations that sound intelligent and don't match how you actually sell.
AI needs a sales process it can understand.

It makes getting the foundation right more important.
AI needs a sales process it can understand.
It needs Salesforce information that can be trusted.
And it needs people who are prepared to use it.
That's why we built our approach around Process, Platform and People.
Process
Your sales methodology, stages, opportunity management, pipeline reviews, forecasting and leading indicators need to be clear and consistently applied.
Platform
Salesforce needs to support the way your team actually sells — with the right information, appropriate permissions and governance, and without unnecessary complexity.
People
Your salespeople and managers need to understand how to use Salesforce effectively, why the way they work matters, and how to sustain the behaviors that make the system valuable.
AI doesn't make these three things less important. It makes them more important.
06 — The Opportunity
Your Salesforce investment has never been more important.
The arrival of AI creates an opportunity to rethink how your sales organization uses Salesforce.
But you don't need to start with AI.
You need to start by understanding what you already have.
Where your sales process is inconsistent.
Where your Salesforce environment creates friction.
Where your data can — or cannot — be trusted.
And whether your salespeople and managers actually rely on Salesforce to run the business.
That's the work we do.
We help B2B sales organizations align Process, Platform and People so Salesforce becomes a system that supports the way they actually sell.
07 — Common Questions
What sales leaders keep asking us about Claudeforce.
What is Claudeforce, exactly?
Claudeforce is the product of a partnership between Salesforce and Anthropic that brings Claude's AI reasoning directly into the Salesforce environment through Salesforce in Claude, including 37 prebuilt sales skills. It lets salespeople work with their Salesforce data and workflows through an AI interface instead of relying solely on the traditional Salesforce screens.
Do we need to already be using Salesforce to benefit from this page?
Yes — Claudeforce works within Salesforce, so this is most relevant to organizations already running Salesforce. If you're evaluating whether your foundation is AI-ready, this assessment applies either way.
Does Claudeforce fix a messy or poorly adopted Salesforce environment?
No. Claudeforce doesn't improve your sales process, clean your data, or fix low adoption — it operates on the foundation you already have. If that foundation is inconsistent, AI can make the gaps more visible rather than solve them.
What's the difference between Claudeforce and just using Salesforce as normal?
With Claudeforce, salespeople increasingly work through an AI interface rather than navigating Salesforce records and screens directly. That's powerful, but it also means the underlying data quality, governance, and permissions matter more — not less.
How is this connected to your P3 Framework?
AI readiness is really a Process, Platform, and People question. A clear sales process gives AI direction, a well-governed Salesforce platform gives it a reliable environment, and prepared people determine whether the organization actually uses what AI provides. That's why we assess all three.
What happens after I take the assessment?
You'll see your score broken down by Process, Platform and People immediately on the page. You can also request our full AI Readiness Guide by email, and if it makes sense, we can set up a discovery conversation to go deeper on any specific gaps.
